About IndiaBIO BTS 2023

Bangalore was the first city in India to host the IT event in 1998 and the Biotech event in 2001. These events, Bangalore IT.com and Bangalore India Bio, soon became highly anticipated gatherings for the global IT and Biotech communities seeking to connect with India. In 2017, these two flagship events were combined into the Bengaluru Tech Summit, leading to a significant increase in the reach and influence of India Bio as it converged with the global tech community at BTS.

The upcoming program will bring together industry leaders, top research institutions, academics, policymakers, and explore innovative advancements in biotech research and business. National BioQuiz

The success story of BioQuiz at BTS 2022 unfolded on a national scale, as it garnered an overwhelming response from all corners of India. With participants hailing from an impressive 24 states across the country, BioQuiz truly captivated the nation's attention. 16th edition of BioQuiz at India Bio@BTS is back again! The objective of the quiz is to create awareness about the fascinating world of Biotechnology and encourage students to delve deep into the subject in a holistic manner. It is also an opportunity to showcase to the world, the talent of our country in the fast-growing area of Life Sciences.

All these years, BioQuiz was open only to students from B.Sc, B.Sc-Agri, B.E-Biotechnology & B.Pharma from across Karnataka State. Keeping in mind the spirit of the new Education Policy, we have decided to open it to all the students in undergraduate studies, irrespective of their specialization from across the country.
